DeltaQuad is seeking a UAV Trainer to empower customers and staff worldwide to safely operate DeltaQuad UAVs. You will deliver training sessions, assess competency, and certify trainees where applicable.
You’ll adapt curricula to different languages and regions, keep content up to date with product changes, and collaborate with engineering, sales, and support. Occasional on-site training travel is required.
As a UAV Trainer, you ensure customers and colleagues worldwide operate and maintain DeltaQuad UAVs safely and confidently.
As a pioneer in long-range electric VTOL (Vertical Take-Off and Landing) drones, DeltaQuad develops robust systems together with trusted partners. We deploy our drones worldwide for defense, agriculture, and inspection; they are reliable, user-friendly, and built to perform in demanding environments. We combine technical innovation with a pragmatic mindset, and what we do today shapes where we will be tomorrow.
Our UAVs are only as strong as the people who operate them. You ensure every customer and colleague can fly, maintain, and troubleshoot DeltaQuad UAVs safely and effectively. Together with our team of trainers, you deliver training sessions for customers and internal staff, assess each trainee's competency level, and certify them where applicable.
Our customers operate worldwide, so no two training programs are the same. You adapt content to different languages, cultures, and regulatory environments, ensuring every program meets aviation regulations and safety guidelines. From time to time, you travel to deliver on-site training.
You also keep improving what we teach. You update the curriculum based on product updates, industry developments, and customer feedback, working closely with our engineering, sales, and support teams. And when customers or sales colleagues have UAV-related questions, you are the expert they turn to.
You are a UAV specialist who loves sharing knowledge. You explain complex topics in a way that sticks; you enjoy standing in front of a group, and you work just as well on your own as in a team. You live in the Amsterdam area and work from our office five days a week, with occasional travel for off-site training.
You also bring:
Strong knowledge of UAV technology, mechanics, and flight operations
Experience in teaching, training, or curriculum development, preferably in a technical field
A solid understanding of aviation regulations and industry standards
A valid EU A1/A3 drone license and a valid driver's license
Fluency in English
Hands-on experience with UAV assembly, troubleshooting, and field operations. Additional languages, such as Spanish or French, are a bonus.
Customers leave your training ready to operate their DeltaQuad UAVs safely and independently. Our training materials keep pace with every product release, and sales and support colleagues know exactly where to find the answers they need.
Competitive salary
A key role in scaling our engineering organization, with real ownership of your portfolio
Work on advanced UAV technology with real-world applications
27 vacation days based on full-time employment
A 38-hour workweek with flexible working hours
€ 0.25/km travel reimbursement or full reimbursement of second-class public transportation
An excellent pension scheme through PME Pension Fund
