Job summary

Basic-Fit is seeking a Financial Controller to join the Financial Control team, owning parts of the monthly close and reporting cycle. You will design scalable processes, improve efficiencies, and ensure accurate IFRS 16 rental and general ledger data across international entities.

You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality reports, drive process improvements, and support external audits while growing your finance career in a fast‑growing company.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance (HBO/WO).
• Strong expertise in R2R, GL accounting, reconciliations, month-end and year-end close, and internal controls.
• Proficiency with big data sets in Excel or similar tools.
• Fluency in English; French is a plus; SAP/S/4HANA and LucaNet experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement improvements to financial processes and document procedures.
• Own accounting entries, reconciliations, and lead schedules for balance sheets and P&L accounts.
• Ensure IFRS 16 rental information is recorded across entities.
• Coordinate with Reporting, Tax, Legal, AP/AR, and other teams on internal controls and ad-hoc analyses.
• Prepare reports for authorities and support external audits.
• Collaborate across departments to strengthen the Internal Control Framework.
