Job summary

Basic-Fit is seeking a Financial Accountant to join our Finance department. You will maintain and report on general ledger transactions across multiple international entities, support month-end closing and statutory reporting, and contribute to process improvements.

You will work with a team of professionals in a dynamic, international environment and collaborate with other departments to deliver high-quality financial insights.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in financial accounting.
• Advanced MS Excel skills.
• Knowledge of IFRS; SAP (S/4HANA) knowledge is a plus.
• Fluent English; Dutch or French is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, process, and report general ledger transactions across international entities.
• Support month-end closing and statutory reporting with journal entries, accruals, deferrals, reconciliations and lead schedules.
• Assist in audit and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
• Develop and implement more efficient financial processes and document procedures.
• Collaborate with Reporting & Tax, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Business Control teams.
• Support management with ad-hoc reporting, analyses and strategic financial initiatives.
