Job summary

Basic-Fit is seeking a Financial Controller to own parts of the reporting process, improve financial controls, and drive scalable processes across international entities. You will ensure accurate journal entries, reconciliations, and timely monthly close, while partnering with Tax, Legal, and Accounts teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance (HBO/WO).
• Experience in Record-to-Report, GL accounting and month-end close.
• Strong Excel data analysis skills and English communication.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement process improvements for financial reporting and controls.
• Proactively address issues affecting the general ledger and reconciliations.
• Ensure accurate recording of journal entries, accruals, and IFRS 16 data.
• Create and review balance sheet reconciliations and lead schedules.
• Prepare reporting for authorities and support external audits.
• Collaborate across departments to develop Internal Control Framework and projects.
