Job summary

Beko Europe is looking for a Financial Controller to join the Finance Benelux team in Breda. You will manage budgeting, forecasting, auditing, reporting and financial analysis, turning data into actionable insights for stakeholders across the business and the global HQ.

You’ll design and maintain internal controls, coordinate audits, ensure Dutch tax compliance and deliver management reports and KPI dashboards in Power BI, while collaborating in an international, collaborative finance

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3+ years of relevant experience within audit, finance, controlling or a similar environment, with a strong foundation in audit.
• Fluent written and spoken English; Dutch would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Support the monthly, quarterly and year-end closing processes, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Act as the main point of contact for external auditors and coordinate the year-end audit.
• Design, maintain and continuously improve internal controls, accounting policies and procedures.
• Plan and execute risk-based internal audits across the organization, monitoring compliance with group policies such as travel & expense, procurement and delegation of authority.
• Test the effectiveness of internal controls, including segregation of duties, approval workflows and fraud-prevention controls, and act as the local point of contact for group internal audit reviews.
• Ensure compliance with Dutch tax requirements.
• Annual budgeting and forecasting cycles.
• Develop and maintain management reports and KPI dashboards in Power BI.
• Oversee balance sheet reconciliations, intercompany transactions, provisions and cash flow monitoring.

You’ll join our Finance Benelux team and work closely with colleagues across the business and our global HQ. It’s an international and collaborative environment where finance plays an important role in supporting informed business decisions.

As a Financial Controller, you’ll use your financial and analytical expertise across budgeting, forecasting, auditing, reporting and financial analysis. You’ll work closely with stakeholders across the business and global HQ, turning financial data into meaningful insights while developing your experience in an international finance environment.

This role in summary

• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel; SAP experience is a plus.
