Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Background in Audit, with 2-4 years of Financial Control experience.
• Experience as Senior Financial Controller in an international environment.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O is mandatory.
• Strong Excel skills and experience with financial systems.
• Fluent English communication, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of day-to-day financial control activities within the Benelux business.
• Act as a trusted business partner and sparring partner to management and key stakeholders.
• Drive and finalize ongoing audit activities for the Belgian entity.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
• Assist with month-end close activities, financial reporting, and performance analysis.
• Identify and implement process improvements across finance operations.
• Work with accounting, payroll, controlling, and cash collection teams.
• Support internal controls and ensure compliance with financial policies.
• Collaborate with Group Finance and international stakeholders on finance initiatives.

Are you a Senior Financial Controller who can hit the ground running and thrive in a fast‑paced international environment?

As Interim Senior Financial Controller, you will play a key role in ensuring financial continuity while supporting an established finance team. You will act as a sparring partner to management, take ownership of critical financial processes, and contribute hands‑on where needed. This position requires someone who can seamlessly switch between strategic thinking, stakeholder management, and operational execution.

You will work closely with the local finance team as well as Group Finance stakeholders in the UK to ensure accurate reporting, successful project delivery, and continuous process improvements.

What you'll do

What you bring

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Background in Audit, combined with a minimum of 2-4 years of Financial Control experience
• Experience working as a Senior Financial Controller within an international environment
• Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O) is mandatory
• Strong Excel skills and experience working with financial systems
• Solid understanding of audits, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
• Ability to operate independently and quickly adapt to new environments
• Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal

Contract & conditions
