Job summary

Benbselect zoekt een Financial Controller voor 40 uur, Schiedam (hybrid). Je bent verantwoordelijk voor de financiële administratie en rapportage van Project Europe-entiteiten, werkt nauw samen met afdelingen en implementeert controlemaatregelen.

Je hebt 2–4 jaar ervaring, een Bachelor in accounting/financien, SAP is een groot voordeel. Je rapporteert aan de Finance Manager en draagt bij aan jaarrekening en ERP-implementaties en procesverbeteringen.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in accounting and/or financial control.
• Strong attention to detail and a naturally curious mindset.
• Ability to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Proficient in English, written and spoken.
• SAP experience is a large advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end closing activities and reporting.
• Work closely with the Shared Services Center to ensure timely, accurate daily accounting.
• Analyze financial results in collaboration with the Finance Manager.
• Advise the organization on financial administration matters.
• Ensure compliance with statutory law and financial regulations.
• Prepare annual financial statements and support internal and statutory audits.
• Participate in ERP transitions and support improvement initiatives within the finance department.

Financial Controller – 40 hours – Schiedam (hybrid)

As financial controller, you will be responsible for the financial administration and reporting of Project Europe entities. Drawing on your financial background and expertise, you will work closely with departments across the organization to analyze financial data, ensure compliance with statutory requirements and financial regulations, and implement control procedures that strengthen accounting and reporting processes. Your responsibilities will be:

Financial reporting

• Lead month-end closing activities and reporting;

• Manage the planning and forecasting cycle for assigned entities;
• Monitor cost-center performance against budget and discuss variances with budget owners.
