Job summary

B&B Select zoekt een Financial Controller voor 40 uur met hybride werk in Schiedam. Je beheert de financiële administratie, rapportage en compliance, en werkt nauw samen met afdelingen om processen te verbeteren.

Je hebt 2–4 jaar relevante ervaring, een bachelor in accounting/finance, en sterke Engelse vaardigheden. SAP-ervaring is geen must maar een groot pluspunt; je laat financiële standaarden groeien en ondersteunt audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-verlof/degree in accounting, finance, business of gerelateerd vak.
• 2–4 jaar ervaring in accounting en/of financiële controle.
• Nauwkeurig en analytisch, met oog voor detail.
• In staat te presteren onder druk en deadlines te halen.
• Vloeiend Engels, schriftelijk en mondeling.
• SAP-ervaring is een groot voordeel.

Responsibilities

• Leiden van maandafsluitingen en rapportages.
• Nauw samenwerken met Shared Services Center voor tijdige boekhouding.
• Analyse van financiële resultaten i.s.m. Finance Manager.
• Adviseer de organisatie over financiële administratie.
• Zorg voor naleving van wet- en regelgeving.
• Voorbereiden van jaarrekening en audits ondersteunen.
• Deelnemen aan ERP-transities en verbeterinitiatieven.

Financial Controller – 40 hours – Schiedam (hybrid)

As financial controller, you will be responsible for the financial administration and reporting of Project Europe entities. Drawing on your financial background and expertise, you will work closely with departments across the organization to analyze financial data, ensure compliance with statutory requirements and financial regulations, and implement control procedures that strengthen accounting and reporting processes. With your broad financial knowledge and analytical mindset, you will continuously look for opportunities to improve financial standards, processes and ways of working.

• A gross monthly income €3.800 – €6.000 (depending on experience);


• A bonus potential of max 12% of the year income.

Your responsibilities will be:

Financial reporting

• Lead month-end closing activities and reporting;


• Work closely with the Shared Services Center to ensure timely, accurate daily accounting;


• Analyze financial results in collaboration with the Finance Manager;


• Advise the organization on financial administration matters;


• Ensure compliance with statutory law and financial regulations;


• Prepare annual financial statements and support internal and statutory audits;


• Participate in ERP transitions and support improvement initiatives within the finance department.

Financial planning & budgeting

• Manage the planning and forecasting cycle for assigned entities;


• Monitor cost-center performance against budget and discuss variances with budget owners.

Conduct ad-hoc analyses and contribute to improvement projects as needed.

What you will bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, or a related field;


• 2-4 years of experience in accounting and/or financial control;


• Strong attention to detail and a naturally curious mindset;


• Ability to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines;


• Proficient in English, written and spoken;


• SAP experience is a large advantage.
