Job summary

Medtronic zoekt een Financial Analyst in Heerlen om revenue recognition en nieuwe business modellen te managen binnen het Global Sales Center of Excellence. Je werkt aan end-to-end processen voor leasing capex en servicecontracten in de EMEA-regio en ondersteunt Integrated Health Solutions.

De rol vereist een relevante finance-opleiding, 0–4 jaar ervaring, uitstekende Engels en SAP-ervaring. Een flexibel werkregime en professionele groeimogelijkheden worden geboden.

Qualifications

• Relevante bachelor- of masterdiploma in finance en/of accounting.
• 0-4 jaar relevante werkervaring in Finance.
• Perfecte beheersing van Engels, schriftelijk en mondeling.
• Ervaring met een ERP-systeem, bij voorkeur SAP.
• Geavanceerde MS Office-vaardigheden (Excel, Access).

Responsibilities

• Beoordeel business cases en pas revenue recognition regels toe.
• Samenwerken met IT & Customer Care voor SAP-capabilities.
• Dien als schakel tussen business, Customer Care, finance en IT.
• Voer balance sheet reconciliaties uit en geef US GAAP disclosures.
• Run Service & Repair en leasing operaties en beheers de maandafsluiting.
• Coördineer goedkeuringen en operationele kant van leasing deals.
• Rapporteer en analyseer active agreements en PPV.
• Lever ad hoc ondersteuning aan sales teams en finance.

Financial Analyst Business Model Innovation

Een dag uit het leven

Within the Global Sales Center of Excellence (CoE) team, we coordinate and manage all financial aspects of the sales cycle in our region, including customer incentives, revenue recognition, new sales models, sales & product structures, sales reporting and sales incentives calculations & accruals.

In this role, you will be part of the team responsible for revenue recognition and new business models. Based on business requirements we design processes and capabilities to support new sales initiatives. After deployment we are often responsible for coordinating the end-to-end process, as we are for leasing capital equipment and service contracts in the EMEA region. Besides that, you support Integrated Health Solutions (IHS). This is an Operating Unit that offers end-to-end solutions for hospitals in which products and services are combined.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

• Review business cases and apply revenue recognition rules to determine financial impact and translate into SAP order entry solutions
• Partner with IT & Customer Care on SAP capabilities for new business models
• Act as spider in the web between the business, Customer Care, business finance and IT
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and prepare US GAAP disclosures
• Run Service & Repair and leasing operations:
• Month end closing activities
• Coordinate approvals and operational side of all leasing deals
• Reporting and analytics active agreements
• Ad hoc support & education to sales teams/business finance
• Run IHS financial operations:
• Manual revenue accruals (ensuring US GAAP compliance and required supporting documentation)
• Business controlling
• Reporting and analytics (revenue, PPV)

You will closely liaise with other value streams, OU finance analysts, Sales Operations, Customer Care & IT.

Required Knowledge and Experience:

• Relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance and/or Accounting
• 0-4 years relevant working experience in Finance
• Perfect command of English, written and spoken
• Experience with an ERP system (preferably SAP)
• Advanced user MS Office (Excel, Access)
