Job Profile:
As a Financial Administrative Employee, you ensure that our financial administration is accurate, complete and up to date. You play an important role in our accounts payable administration and are also involved in various financial reports and periodic closing activities.
You will work closely with colleagues within the Finance departments of APH Group and will regularly be in contact with our international entities.
As a Financial Administrative Employee, your responsibilities include:
- Processing and checking incoming invoices and matching them with purchase orders and goods receipts.
- Managing and maintaining the accounts payable administration.
- Preparing, checking and sending sales invoices.
- Processing bank transactions in the financial administration.
- Checking, coding and recording business credit card transactions, including the verification of receipts, supporting documentation and cost centres.
- Collecting and submitting financial and statistical information for mandatory CBS reporting within the required deadlines.
- Periodically reconciling intercompany balances with other APH Group entities and resolving any differences.
- Preparing payment batches for suppliers in accordance with payment terms and internal authorisation procedures.
- Preparing periodic VAT returns and, after approval, submitting them, including reconciliation with the general ledger.
- Supporting monthly, quarterly and annual closing activities.
- Identifying and implementing improvements within financial and administrative processes.
Job requirements
- A completed MBO-4 or HBO degree in Business Economics, Financial Administration or a comparable field.
- At least 5 years of relevant work experience in a financial or administrative role.
- Preferably experience within an international organisation or an organisation with multiple entities.
- Knowledge of VAT legislation and experience with VAT returns.
- Experience with intercompany reconciliations is an advantage.
- Experience with ERP and/or accounting systems, such as SAP, Exact, Navision or comparable systems.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Good command of both Dutch and English, spoken and written.
