Job summary

Nutreco, part of SHV, is hiring a Financial Administrator in Boxmeer to ensure timely invoicing across European entities. This hybrid role focuses on payment processing, VAT treatment, and data quality within our Financial Shared Service Centre.

You will work with cross‑country teams to improve finance processes, support month‑end tasks, and contribute to digitalisation initiatives in a fast‑paced international setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in finance, accounting, bookkeeping, administration, or a related field.
• Interest in digital processes and continuous improvement.
• Basic knowledge of VAT and financial administration principles.
• Strong attention to detail and a structured way of working.
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Process and validate supplier invoices using our digital Accounts Payable systems.
• Investigate and resolve invoice exceptions that require manual review.
• Support payment processing activities and contribute to month-end financial processes.
• Review financial data for accuracy and ensure correct coding and VAT treatment.
• Work with automated workflows and improve data quality and process efficiency.
• Collaborate with colleagues, suppliers, and stakeholders across several European countries.
• Contribute to ongoing digitalisation and improvement of finance processes within the Shared Service Centre.
• Identify opportunities to improve ways of working and support future automation initiatives.

As a Financial Administrator, you will join our Financial Shared Service Centre based in Boxmeer and play an important role in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of invoices across multiple European entities. What We’re Looking For

• MBO+ or HBO level of working and thinking.
• Experience in finance, accounting, bookkeeping, administration, or a related field.
• Interest in digital processes, financial systems, and continuous improvement.
• Basic knowledge of VAT and financial administration principles.
• Strong attention to detail and a structured way of working.
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills in English; Dutch is an advantage but not required.
