Job summary

Ace & Tate in Amsterdam HQ is seeking a Financial Accountant to own the end-to-end financial administration for our entities, working 32-40 hours in a flexible hybrid setup.

You will prepare journal entries, reconcile balance sheets, review P&Ls for our 80+ stores across 9 countries, and partner with stores and HQ. A solid accounting degree, 3–5 years of experience, plus VAT knowledge and Odoo ERP experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of finance or accounting experience.

• Strong VAT knowledge.
• Solid accounting or finance degree (BSc or MSc).
• Fluent English in speech and writing.

Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of end-to-end financial administration for specific entities, from invoice processing to reporting.
• Prepare journal entries, reconcile balance sheet accounts, and support month-end close.
• Review P&L and contribute to timely reporting for 80+ stores across 9 countries.
• Be the go-to finance partner for stores and HQ teams.
• Coordinate with vendors, reconcile statements, and resolve invoice queries.
• Assist with payment runs and bank reconciliations.
• Help optimise financial processes and reporting, and assist during annual audit.

What our Financial Accountants do

• Take full ownershipmanage the end-to-end financial administration for specific entities – from invoice processing to reporting
• Keep our numbers clean and reliableprepare journal entries, reconcile balance sheet accounts, and support month-end close activities
• Support performance insightsreview P&Ls and contribute to accurate, timely reporting for our 80+ stores across 9 countries
• Be a trusted finance partneract as the go-to person for finance-related questions from stores and HQ teams
• Build strong relationshipscoordinate with vendors, reconcile statements, and resolve invoice queries
• Keep cash flowing smoothlyassist with payment runs, process employee declarations, and reconcile bank transactions
• Improve how we workhelp optimise financial processes and reporting in a fast-growing, changing environment
• Support key momentscontribute to ad hoc business cases and assist during the annual audit

You have

• Experiencewith fixed assets accounting; experience withOdooERPis a strong plus
• Strong VAT knowledgestrong experience on VAT submission
• Educational foundationa solid accounting or finance degree (BSc or MSc level)
• Relevant experience 3–5 years of finance or accounting experience.
