Job summary

QuinteQ Energy is seeking a hands-on Finance Manager to own the day-to-day finance function, drive month-end and year-end closures, and coordinate quarterly forecasts. You will connect finance to operations, manage WIP, inventory and project margins, and lead ERP transition planning for 2027.

You’ll collaborate with the CFO and founders, build a scalable finance function, and guide a growing organization through its expansion with strong controls and insightful reporting.

Qualifications

• A completed Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Economics, or a related field.
• At least 4 years of relevant experience in financial control, accounting, audit, or a similar finance role.
• Solid experience with month-end and year-end closing; year-end closing experience is essential.
• Experience in a project-driven, production, scale-up, or operational environment is a strong advantage.
• Affinity with project accounting, WIP, inventory, and complex goods flows.
• Experience with ERP implementations or finance system improvements is a strong advantage.
• Strong analytical skills combined with a hands-on and pragmatic approach.
• A self-starting and decisive working style, with the ability to bring structure to an evolving environment.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work with both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
• Excellent command of English.

Responsibilities

• Own the closing and reporting cycle and provide cash flow insights.
• Build financial insight into projects, WIP, inventory, and margins across international goods flows.
• Lead ERP implementation, process improvements, and finance reporting.
• Partner with CFO, CEO, COO, Operations, Procurement and project teams.
• Manage day-to-day Finance operations and monthly/year-end close.
• Coordinate quarterly forecasting and improve visibility of cash flow and working capital.
