Job summary

Bloomreach seeks a Financial Controller to lead Dutch accounting, reporting and compliance for its Netherlands entities. The role blends strategic finance with hands-on execution, ensuring US GAAP and local GAAP alignment, strong controls and accurate financial statements.

You will drive close processes, coordinate statutory audits, manage tax compliance, and partner with Global Accounting to enable scalable, automated financial operations across the region.

Qualifications

• Registered Accountant (AA/RA), RC, or a Master’s degree in Accounting or Controlling.
• 8+ years of accounting and finance leadership experience, ideally in a US-parent multinational organization.
• Curiosity to dive into numbers and explain them clearly to others.
• Deep knowledge of local accounting requirements; bridge local statutory requirements and US GAAP reporting.
• Experience managing statutory accounts, working with external auditors, and owning the full audit cycle.
• Experience in a multinational company, ideally with centralized/shared-services accounting.
• Demonstrated ability to manage corporate tax compliance across multiple European jurisdictions with external advisors.
• Strong understanding of multi-currency consolidations, cash flow management, and intercompany transactions (FX).
• Excellent communication skills across time zones and with US-based colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Own accounting prep and review for Netherland entities; monthly, quarterly, and annual close; deep-dive variance analysis for key accounts.
• Lead audit coordination with external auditors; manage the audit lifecycle for Netherland entities.
• Oversee regulatory reporting, controls, governance, and compliance; strengthen internal control environment.
• Manage day-to-day cash flow and treasury for Dutch entities; maintain local banking relationships.
• Drive continuous improvement using automation and AI to streamline accounting, reporting, and reconciliation workflows.
