Job summary

Axelera AI, headquartered in the Netherlands, is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to own day-to-day financial control across the group. You will work between the VP Finance and the wider finance team, ensuring IFRS compliance and strengthening internal controls.

The role includes statutory and tax filings, balance sheet consolidations, and collaboration with external auditors. You will also drive AI-enabled automation in finance and manage NetSuite implementations, with 1–2 days/week

Qualifications

• Big 4 audit background or experience in a company through Big 4 audits.
• Experience in a fast-growing, multi-country scale-up, preferably with manufacturing or hardware exposure.
• Hands-on NetSuite experience is essential.
• Strong IFRS technical knowledge and internal control experience.
• Comfort with using AI tools to optimize finance processes.

Responsibilities

• Own the monthly and annual close process across multiple jurisdictions with IFRS compliance.
• Maintain the group’s internal financial control framework and document controls.
• Manage daily financial compliance and tax filings across entities.
• Escalate and resolve complex queries for Payroll, AP, and Financial Controller.
• Support external auditors and year-end fieldwork, including memos.
• Oversee balance sheet reconciliations, intercompany accounting, and multi-entity consolidation.
• Drive process improvements and IPO-readiness within the control framework.
• Own NetSuite as the core financial system and support new entity set-ups.
• Identify opportunities to apply AI to finance reporting and analysis.
