Job summary

CBRE in Amsterdam seeks a Finance Manager to oversee the financial operations, controls and management information for the Business Unit. You will act as a trusted partner to the Business Unit Director, delivering robust financial insight, governance and performance reporting to support contract performance and decision making.

The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication and a hands-on approach to improve cash flow, margins and financial processes while working in a matrix

Qualifications

• Requires Chartered Accountant qualification or equivalent.
• Higher educational qualifications to at least A level or degree.
• Strong leadership and communication skills are essential.
• Experience in financial governance and reporting in a matrix environment.

Responsibilities

• Act as dedicated financial advisor to the Business Unit Director on all financial performance matters.
• Develop high-quality client relationships within the Business Unit and with account management.
• Rigorous contract governance and cost element accounting.
• Prepare accurate monthly and ad-hoc financial reports including P&L, balance sheet and forecasts.
• Drive improvements in cash-flow, margins and financial processes.
