Job summary

Blue Billywig, based in the Netherlands, is seeking a detail-oriented Finance Professional to lead financial procedures, budgets, and reporting. You will own day-to-day finance operations, payroll, and forecasting in a fast-growing software environment.

Fluency in English and Dutch, 5–7 years of experience, and proficiency with Exact Online, WeFact, Moss, and Xero are essential. The role offers hybrid work, a strong team culture, and ample room to influence finance processes.

Qualifications

• Finance degree or related field.

• Fluent in English and Dutch.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, implementation, and maintenance of financial procedures, budgets, and accounting processes.
• Prepare documentation for annual financial statements.
• Prepare monthly financial reports and manage payroll.
• Develop and maintain forecasting models.
• Oversee day-to-day financial administration (A/R, A/P, GL, payments).
• Optimize and scale financial processes, systems and dashboards.
• Provide strategic support for shareholder updates.

Your Profile:

Your Responsibilities:

• Leading the development, implementation, and maintenance of robust financial procedures, budgets, and accounting processes
• Preparing of comprehensive documentation for annual financial statements
• Preparing accurate and timely monthly financial reports and managing the payroll process.
• Develop and maintain forecasting models
• Managing the day-to-day financial administration, encompassing accounts receivable and payable, general ledger management, and payment processing
• Optimize and scale financial processes, systems and dashboards
• Provide strategic support for shareholder update
