Job summary

Blue Billywig, based in the Netherlands, is seeking a detail-oriented Finance Professional to lead financial procedures, budgets, and reporting. You will own day-to-day finance operations, payroll, and forecasting in a fast-growing software environment.

Fluency in English and Dutch, 5–7 years of experience, and proficiency with Exact Online, WeFact, Moss, and Xero are essential. The role offers hybrid work, a strong team culture, and ample room to influence finance processes.

Qualifications

Finance degree or related field.
5–7 years of relevant finance experience, preferably in SMB.
Proficiency with Exact Online, WeFact, Moss and Xero.
Fluent in English and Dutch.
Strong communication of financial information.
Ability to take ownership and drive improvements.

Responsibilities

Lead development, implementation, and maintenance of financial procedures, budgets, and accounting processes.
Prepare documentation for annual financial statements.
Prepare monthly financial reports and manage payroll.
Develop and maintain forecasting models.
Oversee day-to-day financial administration (A/R, A/P, GL, payments).
Optimize and scale financial processes, systems and dashboards.
Provide strategic support for shareholder updates.
