Nearfield Instruments is seeking a Senior Business Controller to drive financial performance and strategic decision-making in a fast-growing tech scale-up in Rotterdam. You will advise the CFO and Leadership team, shaping profitability and governance across the organization.
You will manage budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning, provide deep financial analysis, and partner with senior leadership on business cases and investments, while maintaining NL GAAP and IFRS compliance.

Our machines enable our customers - the world’s leading chipmakers – to increase the production yields, and thus, functionality of their microchips, which in turn leads to smaller, more powerful consumer electronics.
Founded in 2016, we bring together the most creative minds (approx. 400 employees) in science and technology and develop a one-of-a-kind, revolutionary high throughput Scanning Probe Microscopy system.

You will join the Finance team and acting as a trusted advisor to the CFO, business stakeholders and our Leadership team.
As a Senior Business Controller, you will be responsible for driving financial performance, supporting strategic decision-making, and ensuring robust financial governance. Your role will go beyond reporting and you will actively influence business outcomes and contribute to the company’s growth trajectory.
