Job summary

PPHE Hotel Group in the Netherlands is offering a Finance Intern position starting February 2027. You will support the Hotel Business Control team across six hotels, contributing to financial analysis, reporting, cost-control projects and operational finance activities.

This internship trains you in month-end processes, procurement systems (Fourth and Adaco), and cross-hotel collaboration, with a focus on business performance.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree programme, preferably in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Economics, or a related field.
• Available for a minimum internship period of five months.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills with an eagerness to develop advanced Excel capabilities.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Prepare business control analyses, reports, and presentations under the guidance of the Hotel Business Controllers.
• Support recurring and ad hoc financial reporting activities.
• Assist with projects relating to Rooms and Food & Beverage cost control across the Dutch portfolio.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, efficiency, and reporting quality.
• Support income audit activities and revenue verification processes.
• Assist with accounts payable and purchase-to-pay processes.
• Assist with accounts receivable and order-to-cash processes.
• Support month-end closing activities and ensure deadlines are achieved.
• Assist with the administration and support of procurement systems, including Fourth and Adaco.
• Follow up on purchasing and requisition queries and elevate issues where required.
• Collaborate with finance teams and stakeholders across multiple hotel locations.
• Gain exposure to commercial decision-making through financial analysis and business performance reviews.

As a Finance Intern – February 2027, you will support the Hotel Business Control team and gain exposure to both finance and accounting across PPHE Hotel Group's six hotels in the Netherlands. Essential Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree programme, preferably in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Economics, or a related field
• Available for a minimum internship period of five months

• Flexible and willing to travel between our hotels in Amsterdam, Lijnden, Utrecht, and Eindhoven when required
• Proactive, organised, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively

Preferred Requirements

• Understanding of finance, accounting, or business control principles
