PPHE Hotel Group in the Netherlands is seeking a Groups, Meetings and Events Intern to support proposals, qualify enquiries, and learn how service drives group and event success. Based at NL Offices, you will assist planning and coordination of meetings, group stays and events across properties and learn how commercial decisions shape guest satisfaction.

This internship starts in August 2026 and runs 5 to 10 months, with up to 38 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in or recently graduated with a bachelor’s in hotel/hospitality.
• Fluent in English and Dutch, written and spoken.
• Available for a full-time internship up to 38 hours/week for at least 6 months.
• Must remain enrolled at university for the duration of the internship.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and coordination of meetings, group stays, and events.
• Support daily administrative tasks and client communication.
• Manage event enquiries and assist with proposals and follow-ups.
• Liaise with operational departments to ensure event execution.
• Coordinate group bookings and event details across departments.
• Maintain records and systems related to bookings and events.
• Contribute to a seamless, high-quality client experience.
• Support event operations on site when required.

As a Groups, Meetings and Events Intern, you support the planning and coordination of group bookings, meetings, and events to ensure seamless execution and memorable experiences. Your tasks include preparing proposals, updating systems, and assisting with event logistics while learning how commercial decisions shape guest satisfaction.

This internship starts in August 2026 and offers a full-time learning experience for 5 to 10 months, aligned with your study requirements.

Essential Requirements

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a bachelor’s degree programme, preferably in hotel, hospitality, or a related field
• Fluent in English and Dutch, written and spoken
• Strong administrative and coordination skills
• Available for a full-time internship of up to 38 hours per week for at least 6 months
• You remain enrolled at your university for the full duration of the internship
• Proactive, organised, and eager to learn in a dynamic environment

We provide a monthly allowance starting from €550, exceeding Horeca CAO (BOL) guidelines, with full coverage of travel and job-related expenses.
