Job summary

Howden CPI Netherlands is seeking an ambitious finance professional to join as Financial Controller, reporting to the General Manager and collaborating with the Group Finance team.

You will lead monthly reporting, budgeting, forecasting and business performance while becoming a trusted partner to shape strategic decisions within a multinational environment.

Qualifications

• Qualified Accountant with international exposure preferred.
• Finalist with strong accounting knowledge and potential for growth.

Responsibilities

• Initially focus on financial control, reporting, forecasting and business performance.
• Lead monthly reporting, prepare management accounts and financial analysis.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management.
• Develop finance processes and systems and become a key financial partner to the General Manager.
• Provide commercial and operational financial insight to support strategic decision-making.

As our Netherlands business continues to grow, we are looking for an ambitious finance professional to join us as an Financial Controller, with a clear development path.

This is an ideal opportunity for a qualified accountant, finalist, Senior Accountant or Assistant Controller looking to take the next step in their career.

Working closely with the General Manager and wider Group Finance team, you will initially focus on financial control, reporting, forecasting and business performance. As your knowledge of the business develops, you will become a trusted business partner, supporting strategic decision-making and helping shape the future direction of the business.

What will you do?

Initially (0-12 months):

• Support and manage monthly reporting activities
• Prepare management accounts and financial analysis
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management
• Monitor business performance and identify key trends and risks
• Support statutory reporting and audit activities
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and governance requirements
• Work closely with operational and commercial teams to understand business performance
• Support the development of finance processes and systems
• Become a key financial partner to the General Manager
• Provide commercial and operational financial insight
• Support strategic decision-making and business planning
• Lead finance improvement initiatives
• Further develop leadership responsibilities within the finance function
