At Howden Thomassen Compressors, we are committed to delivering accurate, compliant, and audit‑ready financial information. As our Financial Accountant, you will play a key role in ensuring that our statutory reporting, tax compliance, and accounting processes meet the highest standards. You will work closely with auditors, tax advisors, and internal stakeholders to ensure our financial foundation is strong, transparent, and fully aligned with NL GAAP, US GAAP, and SOX requirements.
This is a hands‑on role with clear ownership across statutory reporting, audit coordination, tax compliance, inventory accounting, and fixed assets. If you thrive in a structured, high‑demanding environment and enjoy working with precision and accountability, this role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact.
We’ve put together some criteria that we think is important for this role, but don’t worry if your experience and expertise isn’t an exact match. If you feel that you can add value to our role and to Howden more broadly, we would welcome your application and be eager to learn more about you.
At Howden Thomassen Compressors, you’ll join a company with deep roots and a forward‑looking mindset. We’re proud of our engineering heritage, but we’re equally excited about where we’re going - towards smarter systems, more sustainable solutions, and a future shaped by innovation.
You’ll be part of a team that values ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement. We believe finance isn’t just about numbers; it’s about enabling better decisions, supporting our people, and strengthening the business every day. Your work will have visibility, impact, and real meaning.
You’ll also enjoy the unique blend of a close‑knit local team and the scale of a global organisation. That means the freedom to make a difference locally, with the support and opportunities that come from being part of Chart/Howden worldwide.
Most importantly, you’ll work with people who care - about the quality of their work, about each other, and about building something that lasts.
