Job summary

GXO Logistics in Almere seeks an experienced Site Controller to join the team, working with the Site Manager to provide financial guidance and support strategic decision-making.

You will lead month-end close, own the P&L, oversee local accounting, and drive budgeting and forecasting. Build robust internal controls and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial outcomes. Fluency in English and 2–3 years of finance/controlling experience required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Economics, or related field.
• 2-3 years experience in finance/controlling.
• Experience with ERP systems and MS Excel.
• Fluency in English.

Responsibilities

• Acting as a finance business partner, advising site leadership and managers on financial and controlling matters while collaborating with cross-functional international teams to identify cost drivers and improve financial outcomes.
• Leading month-end and year-end closing procedures, managing the full P&L, and overseeing local accounting functions.
• Leading the budgeting process as well as weekly and monthly forecasting, taking corrective actions when required.
• Developing and maintaining robust internal control systems to ensure financial compliance and accuracy.
• Creating sales invoices for completed services and discussing them with site managers and customers.
