Job summary

Impactsearch - Finance Recruitment is seeking a Senior Finance Manager for its Rotterdam HQ. You will lead and develop a Finance team of 8 FTE and elevate the business partner capacity for regional MDs in a dynamic, international environment. Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP systems is a major plus.

Fluent English is required; Dutch language is a plus. The role offers a base salary of 105k–110k EUR with profit share and benefits, and requires living in the Netherlands with a valid work

Job description

Our client is a leading global insight-based consultancy firm. The organization has 10+ locations worldwide with a strong presence in Asia, Europe and the Americas. For their HQ, based in Rotterdam, they are seeking to recruit a Senior Finance Manager. In this role you will be managing and developing a Finance team (8 fte) and develop the Business Partner capacity towards the regional MD's. To succeed in this role you need a broad financial background with the ability to work in a highly dynamic and international environment. The company has recently implemented NetSuite, and experience with NetSuite or similar systems with the ability to translate business needs into systems requirements is a major plus.

Tasks & Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop the Finance team, with clear ownership and tailored development plans for each individual
• Build Finance into a proactive and credible business partner for the regional (4) MD's and other relevant stakeholders
• Translate financial and operational data into insights and choices (profitability, efficiency, invoicing, regional performance, etc.)
• Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders
• Drive further optimization, standardization and digitilization of Finance processes

Profile

• Educated to a University degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or similar
• Proven experience in leading and developing a team through change (create stability, develop team/staff and set direction)
• Broad financial background, comfortable in both accounting and business partnering (forecast, budgeting, cash flow, performance management etc.)
• Strong understanding of ERP/Finance systems, with external vendor management experience
• Fluent English, Dutch or any other European language is nice to have
• Excellent stakeholder management with the ability to build strong relationships and convince as a business partner
• Excellent IT/BI skills, ability to translate business needs into system requirements

105/110k base + Profit Share + Benefits

The candidate must already be living in the Netherlands and hold a valid work permit.
