Job summary

John Crane in the Netherlands seeks an experienced Filtration System / Application Engineer to translate customer requirements into customized filtration solutions. You will apply mechanical engineering, filtration tech, and pressure vessel principles, collaborating with engineering, sales, and simulations teams.

You will validate designs with FEA, sizing tools, and international standards, contributing to product development and continuous improvement across the global filtration portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 6+ years of engineering experience on complex projects.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering, solid mechanics and materials.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualise and design new filtration products and systems.
• Develop tailored filtration solutions for complex customer needs.
• Validate designs using FEA, calculations, and sizing tools.
• Perform FEA analyses for assemblies; ensure compliance with international norms.
• Collaborate with Proposal, Sales, and engineering teams to review proposals and solutions.
• Support global Sales with technical expertise and product positioning.
