Job summary

Otovo SRL is seeking a Field Service Technician to work across the Netherlands in Amsterdam and surrounding areas, performing maintenance, diagnostics and repairs on PV systems, batteries and EV charging points in the field. You will handle preventive maintenance, commissioning and customer-facing follow-ups while ensuring compliance with NEN 1010/1011 standards as applicable.

Qualifications

• MBO level 3/4 in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Energy Technology required.
• Valid NEN 3140 certification required.
• At least 4 years of experience with PV systems, batteries, or EV charging points.
• Driving license B holder.
• Independent, customer‑oriented and physically able up to 25 kg.

The Role

As a Field Service Technician, you work independently in the field and are responsible for:

• Maintenance, diagnosis, and repair of PV systems, batteries, and EV charging points

• Preventive maintenance and commissioning

• Customer contact: explanations, solutions, and follow-up

• Reporting of activities and materials

• Participation in on-call duties and emergency interventions

All work is performed according to NEN 1010 and NEN 3140 standards.

Your Profile

Required:

• MBO level 3/4 in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Energy Technology

• Valid NEN 3140 certification

• At least 4 years of experience with PV systems, batteries, or EV charging points

• Driving license B

• Independent, customer-oriented, and physically able (up to 25 kg)

Preferred (not required):

• VCA Basic/VOL, Working at Heights

• Manufacturer certifications (Huawei, Tesla, Enphase, Sigenergy)

• Experience with Dutch grid operators

• Good command of Dutch
