Job summary

Solora in the Netherlands is seeking a Solar System Service Technician to maintain and repair solar parks in the Northern Netherlands (Heerenveen-Lelystad-Zwolle). You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose malfunctions, and document all work in clear reports.

Solar System Service Technician - Northern Netherlands

You'll ensure that solar farms in the Netherlands remain in top condition. You'll do this alongside 10 enthusiastic colleagues at Solora Energy Services. As a Service Technician in the Northern Netherlands (Heerenveen-Lelystad-Zwolle), you'll perform preventive maintenance and resolve malfunctions. You'll conduct preventive inspections of our customers' solar installations. You'll repair or replace defective solar panels and inverters and resolve technical data communication issues. You'll document your work thoroughly in a report.

Annual preventive maintenance includes, among other things:

• Taking measurements.
• Inspecting inverters and the electrical system.
• Taking thermal images.
• Visually inspecting panels and the mounting system.
• Resolving minor malfunctions immediately.

Where will you be working?

Solora Netherlands provides management and (preventive) maintenance for solar parks owned by energy companies, engineering firms, and other businesses with solar parks. We do this through data analysis, remote monitoring, and, of course, on-site work. This is how we keep solar parks in top condition and safe.
As a Service Technician with us, you'll make an important contribution to addressing the challenges of the energy transition and sustainability. You can do this in either the north or south of the Netherlands, as we have two openings due to our growth.

What’s your background?

• We don't look first at your educational background, but rather at what you can do and your willingness to learn.
• You have knowledge of electrical engineering and an affinity for digital applications. You enjoy driving and hold a Class B driver's license. Do you already have experience with solar installations, a NEN 3140 certificate, or VCA certification? If so, that's definitely a plus.
• In this role, it's also very important that you work accurately, for example, to produce well-organized reports.
