Job summary

Wesco is seeking a Supervisor - Field Service to lead and direct the daily operations of service technicians in field projects. You will manage projects, coordinate activities, allocate resources, and build schedules to meet customer contracts.

The role requires heavy equipment operation skills, field-based work, and geographical mobility to relocate as needed. Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor's in business and forklift certification, with OSHA certifications preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in business required.
• Forklift certification required; OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 preferred.
• 3–5 years of heavy equipment operation experience preferred.
• 3–5 years supervision experience in a construction environment preferred.
• Strong inventory control knowledge required.
• Knowledge of electrical, construction or mechanical products.
• Strong time management skills required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills required.
• Basic computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Directs and manages project development from beginning to end according to the customer contract.
• Provides daily direction to Field Service Supervisors to ensure timely completion of projects.
• Liaises with project stakeholders and directs customer interaction.
• Sets and manages project expectations with team members and stakeholders.
• Tracks milestones and delivers progress reports, proposals, and requirements documentation.
• Proactively manages changes in project scope and prepares contingency plans.
• Inspects progress, equipment, or sites to verify safety and conformance to specs.
• Ensures a safe working environment and follows safety regulations; completes monthly safety reporting.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
