Job summary

Sulzer is seeking a Field Service Coordinator to support Field Service activities from Venlo (Lomm) or on site. You will work with project teams to coordinate field service execution and manage related documentation and costs.

The role requires a technician’s background, 5+ years in rotating equipment, and strong English skills, with a proactive and collaborative approach to complex field assignments.

Qualifications

• Vocational degree as a Technician.
• 5+ years of experience in the field of rotating equipment.
• Very good English language skills.
• A proactive, flexible, and problem-solving attitude.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Preparing, coordinating and supporting execution of Field Service activities in collaboration with project team.
• Analyzing requests from both internal and external stakeholders/customers.
• Updating the manpower plan/project information for the Field Service projects in ERP and tracking costs during the projects.
• Generating purchase requisitions for the Field Service projects.
• Consulting with subcontractors and suppliers with regard to project preparation, delivery times and consumables procurement.
• Managing and maintaining inventory of Field Service tool containers & special tools.
• Organizing all travel related topics for the Field Service team.
• Carrying out cost calculations and close out costings within the scope of concluded agreements.
