Job summary

AEG Power Solutions seeks an experienced field service professional to install, maintain, commission and repair power systems at customer sites across the Netherlands. You will handle battery maintenance, testing defective components, and ensure on-site safety and quality compliance.

You will document visits, coordinate with customers and third parties, and provide training on-site. Occasional sales of maintenance services or upgrades will be expected to align with customer needs.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience in repairing electrical/electronic equipment at component level.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Experience with power electronic systems and related installation/maintenance procedures.
• Willing to work weekends and night shifts to ensure 24/7 availability.
• Proficient in English; Dutch language is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Visit customer sites to install, maintain, commission and repair power supply and related systems, including battery maintenance and swap-over.
• Test and replace defective components to put the system into operation.
• Ensure timely, accurate and complete documentation relating to the site visits.
• Ensure compliance with quality and safety requirements.
• Confer with customers and third parties clarifying terms and conditions relating to on-site activities.
• Provide technical training and instructions to people on the customers site.
• Ensure effective and efficient use of service repair equipment.
• Keep track of necessary calibration or exchange of equipment.
• Inform the customer about possible system improvements and coordinate follow up with the sales team.
• Proactively sell customer services based on customer needs (maintenance contracts or upgrades).
