Job summary

Greener Power Solutions is seeking a Field Service Engineer to keep our mobile battery fleet running safely, maintained, and performing at its best across sites and events.

You’ll commission and decommission battery systems, perform preventive and corrective maintenance, and troubleshoot electrical and technical issues both remotely and on-site, traveling regularly with a company vehicle and joining an on-call rotation.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in technical service, maintenance or field service.
• Solid understanding of electrical systems and willingness to learn.
• Enjoy troubleshooting technical challenges.
• Comfortable working with hardware and technology while building customer relationships.
• Willing to travel regularly and participate in on-call rotation.

Join our dynamic Service team—this is where the magic happens! Our team plays a crucial role in ensuring that our battery fleet is safely commissioned, well maintained, and always performing at its best.

As a Field Service Engineer, no two days are the same. You'll be responsible for commissioning and decommissioning our mobile battery systems, carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance, and troubleshooting electrical and technical issues both remotely and on-site. Whether you're supporting a construction site, event, or industrial project, your work ensures our customers always have reliable, sustainable power when they need it.

You’ll work closely with colleagues from the service team to deliver the best possible service to our customers. Because you’re regularly visiting project sites, you’ll build strong relationships with clients and become a trusted technical point of contact throughout the project. The role is hands‑on and combines working with hardware, technology and people, making every day different.

As part of our Service team, you’ll travel regularly to customer locations by company vehicle and participate in our on‑call rotation approximately 1–2 times per month (with additional compensation), ensuring we can continue supporting our customers whenever needed.

Who are you?

• A true Greener—you want to make the world a better place, challenge the status quo, and continuously look for ways to improve
• You have 2–5 years of experience in a technical service, maintenance, field service or comparable hands‑on role
• You have a solid understanding of, or are very eager to learn about, electrical systems and enjoy troubleshooting technical challenges
• You enjoy working with hardware and technology, while also building strong relationships with customers
• You’re comfortable working independently and don’t mind occasionally working flexible hours as part of an on‑call rotation
• You hold a valid driver’s licence and are willing to travel regularly to customer sites
• You communicate fluently in English (Dutch is a plus)
