Job summary

CSI Palletising in Raamsdonksveer, The Netherlands, is seeking a Field Service Engineer to keep palletising systems running at customer sites worldwide. You will spend around 70% on site with customers in the Netherlands and abroad, solving mechanical, electrical and software challenges and ensuring system performance.

You’ll be the expert on site, take ownership, and have the opportunity to grow into a Field Service Specialist focusing on advanced software adjustments.

Qualifications

• MBO+/HBO in Mechatronics, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience or strong interest in industrial automation and robotics.
• Fluent Dutch and English (German is a bonus).
• Independent, customer-focused, flexible and eager to learn.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and inspections on CSI systems.
• Diagnose and resolve faults in mechanical, electrical and software domains.
• Execute modifications and upgrades, from short visits to multi-week projects.
• Advise customers on improvements and system expansions.
• Train operators and maintenance teams on site.
• Join a 24/7 rotating consignment service.

The Role

As a Field Service Engineer, you ensure that our customer installations continue to perform at their best. You’ll work hands‑on with advanced palletising systems, spending around 70% of your time on site with customers, both in the Netherlands and internationally.

About You

• MBO+ or HBO education in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
• Experience or strong interest in industrial automation and robotics - (Allen‑Bradley, Siemens, ABB or Fanuc is a plus)
• Good command of Dutch and English (German is a bonus)
• Independent, customer‑focused, flexible and eager to learn
• Comfortable with travel and working in varied environments
