Job summary

Global Blue by Shift4 is seeking a Solution Specialist Payments in the Netherlands. You will drive new business and support existing clients by promoting merchant servicing products, hardware, software, and services. This field-based role offers autonomy and direct impact on revenue growth.

You will prospect, set appointments, close deals, and grow relationships with merchants across the territory. Travel and robust CRM usage are expected.

Qualifications

• Proven outside sales experience in payments/tech or similar.
• CRM proficiency and pipeline management.
• Strong presentation, negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to build trust and long-term client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Prospect and generate new business opportunities through phone outreach, networking, and referrals.
• Set appointments with merchants to present Global Blue by Shift4’s Payment Terminal and services.
• Close deals in a fast-paced sales cycle and sign new logos in the assigned territory.
• Assist existing clients with add-on services, including hardware, software, and professional solutions.
• Build relationships with merchants by listening to their needs and resolving issues.
• Explain the value of Global Blue by Shift4’s solutions to clients (demos or Payment Terminal).
• Qualify opportunities and identify cross-sell/up-sell opportunities.
• Understand merchant acquiring statements and position our end-to-end service offering.
• Maintain accurate CRM records and pipeline management.
• Communicate with manager and adhere to policies and procedures.
• Continue developing knowledge of products, services, and industry trends.
