Job summary

Boehringer Ingelheim B.V. in Amsterdam is seeking a Specialist Engagement Manager to drive adoption of our CRM product in secondary care. You will influence specialist decisions through scientifically credible engagements and clear clinical positioning, partnering with healthcare professionals to translate strategy into impactful field activity.

This field-based, hybrid role reports to the Area Head CRM. You will collaborate across commercial, medical and other functions to execute

Qualifications

• Bachelor or diploma in a relevant field (Business, Life Sciences, Finance, Marketing).
• At least 5 years in specialty care pharmaceutical sales with proven engagement of specialist audiences.
• Strong scientific expertise in CRM-related disease areas and ability to interpret data for clinical discussions.
• Proven ability to influence treatment decisions through evidence-based discussions and to gain commitment in complex interactions.
• Excellent stakeholder management and account planning skills to influence key decision-makers.
• Commercially driven with an insights-led approach to prioritize opportunities and deliver measurable impact.

Responsibilities

• Drive treatment adoption and business growth by delivering scientifically grounded engagements.
• Influence prescribing behavior through advanced clinical discussions and handling objections.
• Execute high-quality engagements with pre-call planning, impactful specialist interactions, and effective follow-up.
• Identify and engage high-impact specialists and influencers to maximize patient impact and territory objectives.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to develop customer-focused strategies and ensure aligned execution across functions.
• Maintain high-quality CRM data and adapt interactions to customer preferences.
