Job summary

Nebius, headquartered in Amsterdam and listed on Nasdaq, is building a full-stack AI cloud platform for the financial services sector. The Field CTO for Financial Services will shape architecture, diligence, and product requirements across regulated institutions, partnering with sales, security, and product teams.

You will lead technical engagements, define reference architectures for real-time risk, backtesting, and KYC/AML workloads, and guide field teams through complex customer journeys with

Qualifications

• 10+ years in cloud infrastructure or distributed systems with 5+ years in AI/ML/MLOps.
• Senior technical leadership experience (Field CTO/CTO or equivalent).
• Dual ability to explain architectures to CIOs and risk officers.
• GTM fluency: partner with Sales for enterprise deals.
• Product-minded leader who can push back on technical debt.
• Mastery of GPU architectures, Kubernetes, Slurm, and high-performance storage.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture workshops with CTOs, quant/ML leaders, and CIOs.
• Define reference architectures for financial workloads (risk, trading, KYC/AML).
• Translate field learnings into prioritized product requirements for Product/Engineering.
• Create technical narratives, assets, and enablement materials for Field SAs.
• Collaborate with Security, GRC, and Legal on audits and data residency.
• Start as hands-on contributor and grow into leading forward deployed engineers.
• Identify ecosystem partnerships and evaluate potential M&A opportunities.
