Job summary

Summa College seeks a Facilities Manager in Eindhoven to lead Facility Services and manage a team of facilities professionals. You will ensure a safe, welcoming environment and align services with educational needs.

You will report to the Director of Facility Services and work with directors and team leaders to optimise operations, contracts, and supplier relations. A hybrid work arrangement is possible and the role includes a fixed-term contract with potential conversion.

Qualifications

• Higher professional or university level in Facility Management (or related field).
• Managerial experience is required.
• Experience in facilities field is required.
• Experience with contract or supplier management.
• Able to switch between different interests and manage multiple priorities.
• Good communication with colleagues, management and external partners.
• Systematic approach and ability to maintain an overview.
• Identify areas to improve service delivery and address them with colleagues and suppliers.

You support them in performing their roles as effectively as possible. The daily operational management of the team lies with the facilities coordinator.You also serve as operational contract manager for a portion of the facilities contracts. You maintain contact with suppliers, monitor the quality of service delivery, and ensure that contractual agreements are properly executed.You work closely with directors and team leaders. Together, you ensure that facility services align with the needs of education. You are the point of contact for the organization regarding both facility and accommodation aspects at the locations.Your responsibilities include:* professionalization of Facility Services services;* optimizing the quality and efficiency of facility processes;* operational contract management for major facility contracts such as cleaning, catering, and waste management;* advising directors and team leaders on facility services, including serving as the primary point of contact for accommodation aspects;You are part of the Facility Services department and report to the Director of Facility Services, Finance & Control, and Sustainability.
