Job summary

Summa College seeks a Facilities Manager in Eindhoven to lead Facility Services and manage a team of facilities professionals. You will ensure a safe, welcoming environment and align services with educational needs.

You will report to the Director of Facility Services and work with directors and team leaders to optimise operations, contracts, and supplier relations. A hybrid work arrangement is possible and the role includes a fixed-term contract with potential conversion.

Qualifications

• Higher professional or university level in Facility Management (or related field).
• Managerial experience is required.
• Experience in facilities field is required.
• Experience with contract or supplier management.
• Able to switch between different interests and manage multiple priorities.
• Good communication with colleagues, management and external partners.
• Systematic approach and ability to maintain an overview.
• Identify areas to improve service delivery and address them with colleagues and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Professionalisation of Facility Services activities.
• Improve quality and efficiency of facility processes.
• Operational contract management for major facility contracts (e.g., cleaning, catering, waste management).
• Advise directors and team leaders on facility services and accommodation aspects.
• Serve as point of contact for facility and accommodation matters; align services with education needs.
