Job description

The Facility Coordinator / WAC R&D supports the Gatekeeper R&D and the Building Manager in the organization and coordination of services on the Dow site with regard to management and maintenance of, among other things, assigned building installations. The emphasis of the job will be on a good mix of solving (simple) malfunctions in installations and buildings, especially with regard to electrical and IT related issues, and the operational coordination and management of contracted installation companies (suppliers).

Responsibilities

• Independently solving small simple malfunctions in electrical and IT installations in buildings;
• The operational management, coordination and monitoring of contracted suppliers in the daily execution of assignments. The emphasis will mainly be on the practical supervision of the work on location;
• Maintaining, adjusting, correcting and updating the FMIS system TRIRIGA;
• First point of contact for suppliers during the practical implementation of work on location;
• Taking care of and supervising the (occupational health and safety) aspects of safety, health and well-being and following safety training courses.
• After internal training: Handing over work permits on location and carrying out the SWA (start work analysis);
• Actively participate in safety observations and inspections;
• Reports to the Facility Manager Building Installations on the progress and details of supplier work.

Qualifications

• Experience in directing and managing suppliers
• Strong character traits with regard to showing ownership
