Experienced CNC Machine Repair Technician
Join The Gund Company as a full‑time Experienced CNC Machine Repair Technician to perform installation, diagnostics, repairs, and preventative maintenance on CNC machinery and facility equipment.

Hourly Wage: $28.00–$36.00, depending on experience

Job Summary
We need a highly skilled technician to troubleshoot complex electronic and mechanical issues to ensure continuous, efficient manufacturing operations, minimize unplanned downtime, and maintain a safe environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair CNC machinery including mills, lathes, routers, and control systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve electronic issues involving PLCs, servo motors, drives, and control circuits.
- Perform mechanical repairs such as hydraulics, pneumatics, and precision alignments.
- Complete maintenance work orders and document all repairs and inspections accurately.
- Conduct preventative maintenance based on manufacturer schedules and internal protocols.
Requirements
Education and Experience
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and repair CNC equipment and facility systems (electrical, pneumatic, mechanical).
- Strong understanding of control systems, schematics, and technical documentation.
- Excellent communication skills for working with team members and external vendors.
Preferred
- Trade school or associate’s degree in Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, or related field.
- Minimum five years of experience in CNC repair or industrial maintenance.
Work Environment
- Typical shop environment; not climate controlled and subject to outdoor weather conditions.
- Exposure to noise, fumes, dust, toxic or caustic chemicals.
- Ability to stand, walk, and use hands for extended periods (>75% of time).
- Lifting and moving up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Visual acuity for close‑range work and machine adjustments.
- Manual dexterity to operate and adjust machinery precisely.
