What You Will Do
- As a Maintenance Technician, you'll play a critical role in keeping our manufacturing operation running efficiently. You'll troubleshoot equipment, perform preventive maintenance, and help improve production reliability while working in a clean, safety-focused environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on production equipment.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Diagnose equipment issues and complete repairs to minimize downtime.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and equipment documentation.
- Complete scheduled preventive maintenance and maintain accurate maintenance records.
- Partner with production, engineering, and outside vendors to coordinate repairs.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area using 5S3R principles.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives that increase equipment reliability and efficiency.
- Mentor and train newer technicians (Technician II & III).
REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Vocational training or Associate degree is a plus.
- Journeyman certification or equivalent experience preferred for higher-level positions.
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- PLC troubleshooting experience is a plus.
- Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and work orders.
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
