Job summary

Prodrive Technologies in the Netherlands is seeking a CAM/CNC Machine Operator to operate and monitor CAM/CNC machines, set up tooling, read drawings, and verify programs for precision components. This role requires accuracy, hands-on initiative, and compliance with safety procedures.

You will contribute to safe and efficient production across a dynamic team in an international environment, with a 40-hour work week and shift-based compensation.

Qualifications

• Experience operating CAM/CNC machines and setting up tooling.
• Ability to read technical drawings and load CAM/CNC programs.
• Strong eye for detail and precision in inspection.

Responsibilities

• Machine Setup & Operation: Set up and operate CAM/CNC machines, including selecting tools, fixtures, and appropriate cutting parameters.
• Technical Drawings & Programs: Read technical drawings and work instructions, and load or verify CAM/CNC programs before production.
• Quality Control: Measure and inspect finished components using calipers, micrometers, and gauges to ensure tolerances.
• Safety & Maintenance: Perform routine machine cleaning and maintenance, identify production issues, and follow safety procedures.

A CAM Machine Operator is responsible for operating and monitoring computer-controlled machines to manufacture precision components. The role involves setting up machines, following technical drawings and CAM programs, checking product quality, and ensuring safe and efficient production.

Machine Setup & Operation: Set up and operate CAM/CNC machines, including selecting tools, fixtures, and appropriate cutting parameters.

Technical Drawings & Programs: Read technical drawings and work instructions, and load or verify CAM/CNC programs before production.

Quality Control: Measure and inspect finished components using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to ensure required dimensions and tolerances.

Safety & Maintenance: Perform routine machine cleaning and maintenance, identify production issues, and follow all health, safety, and workplace procedures.
