Job summary

RIFT is seeking a Chief Commercial Officer to lead the company’s first commercial-scale project Alpha One and build the commercial foundation for international growth.

You will secure long-term commercial agreements across the value chain, shape market strategy, and manage a team of professionals across Marketing, Boiler Sales and Iron Oxide Sales. This is a high-visibility, ownership-driven role with travel and board-level exposure.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years in a senior commercial leadership role.
• Proven track record closing complex multi-party agreements with high value (>$35M).
• Experience leading sales and marketing teams in a tech/dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Alpha One to FID with long-term customer and supplier commitments.
• Define and execute commercial strategy and market positioning for a nascent market.
• Lead and scale RIFT’s commercial organisation for international growth.
• Govern commercial governance, reporting to investors and the Supervisory Board.
• Shape roadmap to future projects (Alpha Two, Three and beyond).
• Coach and develop commercial talent and drive cross-functional collaboration.
