Job summary

BaxterStorey Netherlands is seeking an enthusiastic Driver to join our team in Amsterdam. You will safely deliver food and equipment to events and assist with on-site setup and breakdown, supporting kitchen and Front of House teams to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license required.
• Basic cooking/kitchen prep skills expected.
• Food safety certification (HACCP) or willingness to obtain.
• Excellent time management and organisational abilities.
• Strong customer service orientation and professionalism.
• Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic maths skills for payments and measures.
• Good physical stamina to stand and lift up to 25 kg.
• Flexible to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Experience in food delivery or kitchen work preferred.
• Culinary training is desirable but not required.
• Familiar with local area and navigation skills.
• Able to work well in a team and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Safely deliver food orders to customers on time and with care.
• Assist in basic food preparation and cleaning under supervision.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation in kitchen and delivery vehicle.
• Follow food safety and hygiene protocols in all tasks.
• Operate and maintain kitchen equipment as directed.
• Balance time effectively between delivery and kitchen duties.
• Provide excellent customer service in person and by phone.
• Assist with stock rotation and inventory management.
• Collaborate with kitchen team to ensure smooth operations during peak times.
• Accurately process payments and handle cash when required.
