Job summary

BaxterStorey Netherlands is seeking a Driver to join our events team in Amsterdam. You will deliver food and equipment to venues, while also participating in on-site setup and breakdown and supporting kitchen and Front of House operations.

The role requires physical stamina and familiarity with the local area; prior delivery or kitchen experience is preferred. This is a full-time position based on a 38-hour week.

Qualifications

• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 kg.
• Previous experience in food delivery or kitchen work is preferred.
• Basic culinary training or education is desirable but not required.
• Familiarity with the local area and strong navigational skills.

Job description

Gross salary: EUR€ 2.500 - 3.000 gross per month based on fulltime (38 hours)

BaxterStorey Netherlands is looking for an enthusiastic Driver to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely and promptly delivering food and equipment to our events, but you will also be an essential part of the on-site team. You will assist with setup and breakdown and support both the kitchen and Front of House teams, contributing to the smooth running of all our Back of House operations.

Job Description

• Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen and delivery vehicle. Zorgt dat zowel de keuken als de bus netjes en opgeruimd is.
• Accurately process payments and handle cash transactions when required. Verwerkt betalingen zorgvuldig.

Qualifications

• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 kg. Fysieke uithoudingsvermogen om langere tijd te staan en kan tot 25 kg te tillen.
• Previous experience in food delivery or kitchen work is preferred. Ervaring in voedselbezorging of keukenwerk is een pre.
• Basic culinary training or education is desirable but not required. Basis kookopleiding of -kennis is wenselijk, maar niet verplicht.
• Familiarity with the local area and strong navigational skills. Kennis van de lokale omgeving en goede navigatievaardigheden.
