Job summary
AUTEL Energy - Europe is seeking an L2 Regional Technical Expert based in Europe to provide advanced diagnostics and complex issue resolution for EV charging products. You will act as the regional bridge between service teams and HQ, performing RCA, coordinating field activities, and guiding remote and on-site support across customers and partners.
The role focuses on remote technical support during European business hours with 70-80% remote work and 20-30% on-site or lab activities,
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in Electrical/Electronics/Mechatronics/Automation or related field.
- 3-7 years of experience in technical support, field service, commissioning, or technical engineering.
- Experience with EV charging systems, power electronics, or IoT solutions.
- Experience supporting both remote technical service and field engineering activities.
Responsibilities
- Provide advanced remote diagnostics for complex issues across hardware, software, networking, and integration.
- Own complex technical cases from escalation to resolution; coordinate across teams.
- Assist field engineers and service partners with commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Escalate defects to HQ and prepare structured RCA reports with logs and steps.
- Support deployment of new products and software releases in the region.
- Develop troubleshooting playbooks, procedures, and knowledge base articles.
