Job summary

Saltes B.V. in the Netherlands is seeking a Head of Sales to shape the European expansion and lead the first flagship industrial projects for the ThermalPod®. You will build a small but capable commercial team, establish structured sales processes, and drive multi-country growth across Europe.

The role combines strategic direction with hands-on execution, offering high autonomy and a clear path toward senior leadership as Saltes scales its energy transition solutions.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of experience in industrial energy project development or cleantech sales.
• Proven ability to manage complex, capital-intensive B2B sales cycles.
• Strong commercial and analytical mindset with solid technical understanding.

Responsibilities

• Co-develop and execute our European sales strategy with the CEO.
• Lead the full sales cycle for industrial EPC and Heat-as-a-Service projects.
• Build and manage a small commercial team (starting with a business developer and a sales engineer).
• Establish a clear sales structure, CRM process and pipeline visibility across European markets.
• Translate customer needs into actionable proposals and commercial offers.
• Work closely with engineering, finance and operations to ensure alignment from lead to delivery.
• Help refine Saltes’ business model and go-to-market approach as we scale.
