Job summary

DSJ Global seeks an experienced Operations Director to lead European operations across the Netherlands, Germany and Italy. This role demands strategic, process-driven leadership, governance, and organisational development to strengthen operational performance.

You will oversee multiple sites and business units, develop and implement strategies, coach regional Operations Managers, and partner with the MD and executive team. Travel across the region to engage local leadership and sites.

Qualifications

• Experience in senior operational leadership across multiple sites or countries.
• Proven ability to lead transformation and change management programmes.
• Experience building processes, structures, and governance within complex operations.
• Ability to lead through others and develop high-performing management teams.
• Experience in executive or management team settings.
• Strong understanding of performance management and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee operational activities across multiple European sites.
• Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Establish governance frameworks and robust performance management.
• Drive continuous improvement to increase efficiency and service delivery.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and support to country Operations Managers.
• Partner with the MD and executive team on strategic planning.
• Identify operational challenges and implement sustainable long-term solutions.
• Support change management and foster accountability and performance.
• Monitor KPIs and align with business priorities.
• Travel regularly across the region to engage local leadership.
