Job summary

AEGIR-Marine BV is expanding across Europe and seeks an Area Sales Manager to strengthen and grow our client base, working with local agents and cross-functional teams. You will drive turnover across our full service and product portfolio and lead regional sales initiatives with a focus on relationship-building and service excellence.

You bring 5–10 years in maritime sales, strong negotiation and presentation skills, and a track record of developing long-term partnerships.

Qualifications

5–10 years of sales experience in maritime or technical services.
Understand customer needs and market dynamics.
Guide clients through complex quotations with clear legal and financial insight.
Communicate with clarity and impact, building trust and long-term partnerships.

Responsibilities

Develop regional sales strategies and budgets.
Engage new clients while maintaining strong relationships with existing ones.
Support local agents commercially and technically.
Monitor market and competitor developments.
Lead acquisition efforts and follow up on quotations.
Collaborate with internal Sales Engineers and Service Coordinators on complex quotations.
Share and leverage networking contacts across regions.
Manage and prevent client claims.
Provide functional leadership to the regional team.
Ensure client satisfaction through proactive service and communication.
