Job summary

Modulr is seeking a Compliance Analyst to join our Second Line Risk and Compliance Function in Europe. You will contribute to ensuring effective compliance across Modulr's European entity, working closely with our UK business to share and drive best practices.

Based in Amsterdam, you will engage regulators, perform regulatory reporting, horizon scanning, and change management, with a strong emphasis on native Spanish communication.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a second line compliance role within financial services or consultancy.
• Experience engaging with regulators and supervisory authorities.
• Strong understanding of AML/FT frameworks in a second-line environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; native Spanish required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operation of compliance processes and guide first-line teams.
• Support identification, assessment and treatment of compliance risks.
• Engage with regulators and competent authorities as needed.
• Scan for regulatory changes and manage regulatory change projects.
• Monitor improvements and elevate where necessary.
• Champion a strong compliance culture across the business.
• Provide high-quality, informative management information.
• Support RFIs/RFPs and team development; second-line oversight of AML/FT controls.
